Central Plains Water Application

Project Objective:
85,000 ha Irrigation Scheme

The task was to audit the applications by Central Plains Water to establish an 85,000 hectare irrigation scheme drawing water from the Rakaia and Waimakariri Rivers.

The project is located in Mid Canterbury, New Zealand, and the site is extending generally between the Waimakariri River and Rakaia River from the line of State Highway 1 to the foothills above Sheffield - Darfield - Hororata - Windwhistle.

Reports on adequacy of the information were provided with the applications. Our output was a report auditing the application documents relating to traffic matters.
