Evans Street Motel - Resource Consent Approval
Project Objective:
To prepare and obtain a land use consent for a new 16 unit motel complex on Evans Street, Timaru ViaStrada staff prepared and lodged a resource consent application (which included traffic assessments) for a 16 unit motel complex on a site on the main thoroughfare through Timaru.
This included pre-application discussions with the New Zealand Transport Agency. ViaStrada also provided expert evidence to a Council hearings panel, which subsequently issued Resource Consent in October 2008.
