Tasman Cycle Trail
Project Objective:
Resource Consents The Nelson office was selected through a competetive bid process to prepare resource consents for the Tasman Cycle Trail, as part of the national Cycle Trails initiative. Stage 1 involves a coastal route from Nelson Airport to Mapua, including sections of boardwalks through the Waimea Estuary and an inland route following the historic rail trail to Wakefield. Ultimately the trail will be an easy grade loop taking into the scenic Tasman back-country.
