Biography
Esther joined ViaStrada with a strong transport planning background in private consultancies and local government. Her work experience includes land use planning, urban planning and transport planning, and she has covered various projects from small up to the large and complex. She has worked in New Zealand, the Solomon Islands, Mexico, the Maldives and the Netherlands, where she was in a senior role at Rotterdam City Council. Esther also has a certificate in Architecture and Urban Design. Being Dutch, Esther is a keen cyclist for commuting and recreational cycling. She has worked in the field of cycle planning in New Zealand and the Netherlands.
