ViaStrada Nelson Office

ViaStrada is pleased to announce the opening of its Nelson regional office scheduled for 2nd March. Quickfall Associates, an established resource management and planning consultancy servicing the top of the South Island, is rebranding as ViaStrada.

Projects

Evidence for $120m Redevelopment of former Feltex Site

ViaStrada's senior planner Jeremy Phillips and senior traffic planner Rhys Chesterman presented evidence in December 2008 to a Christchurch City Council Hearings Commissioner on the proposed $120m redevelopment of the former Feltex Carpets factory site in Ilam, Christchurch.

Land Use Consent Application for new Lincoln Baptist Church Complex

ViaStrada prepared and lodged a resource consent application for a large new church facility for Lincoln Baptist Church on the outskirts of Lincoln. The proposed development includes a 500 seat auditorium, an office block and meeting rooms, a cafe, a new preschool, a multi-purpose youth facility, a 'Kids for Christ' centre, and ancillary areas of car parking and landscaping.

Lake Road Cycle Lane Options

Cycle lanes had been approved by North Shore City Council (NSCC) for installation on Lake Road between Esmonde Road and Hauraki Road. ViaStrada developed and reviewed alternative options for accommodating cyclists on this 23 m road corridor carrying four lanes of traffic.
